Blood Bowl Training Camp

Blood Bowl Training Camp

Postby Gsmack on Tue Jun 22, 2010 10:20 pm

I am by no means an expert, but I do know the rules and the fundamentals of hurting elves and occasionally scoring.

I know a few of the guys are getting new teams and don't know how to play yet. There were some people up last week in fact who were interested in learning some BB.
I plan on being up Thursday all day and will be assembling and hopefully throwing some paint on my new dwarf team.
I also have Orcs, Humans, Undead, and some other stuff IIRC ... haffers and skaven maybe.

If anyone is interested in learning more about the fine art of pile driving those weaker than you into the Astrogranite. Please feel free to come up and ask me for a game.

Thanks Ron. I knew it was called something special; I just couldn't think of the name for it.

On a related note, I love teaching my computers dictionary words like Astrogranite.

I may be up Friday as well.
And some bloodbowl Sunday after the tournament might be good too depending on how desperate for adult beverages and chicken carcasses I am.

You should go out after the tournament. Do it!

Implying I can't play Bloodbowl after I'm full of delicious chicken meat and Crown Royal.

Heck I played two games at once ... I don't remember the outcome of those games but my sources tell me they more than likely came out in my favor. Isn't that right Captain Morgan?

I might be able to stop in Thursday and play. Not that I'm any good, but I at least cheat like I know what I'm doing.

I'm feeling a bit yeegh ...but hopefully that's just the muggy and the storms blowing through.
I really want to get up and get some stuff built tomorrow.

If by that you mean load your team with AGI 5 players, then yes, you cheat like a god sir.

Grant - I'm pretty booked for the weekend. My next real free time to play some blood bowl would be starting thursday next week. if you're still up for it let me know. I've got a variety of teams to throw at you.

Dunno if I'm going to make it this Thursday even. Protip: Don't share Gatorade with those Nurgle's Rotter fellows.
Something doesn't seem quite right about them.

I just can't put my finger on it ...seeing as I seem to have left it down stairs.
If this is the sinus infection I think it is I'll be lucky to make it up Sunday :(

I still planning on coming up after lunch if anyone cares to play a demo game, or learn, or whatever.
