I'm sure you could fit all of your games in on Saturday if you wanted to play. I figured that the busiest days would be Wednesday's and Saturday's for all of our games.

A large model is acceptable as an entry into the painting competition.

For the painting award if we are doing a diarama can we paint various models of different units rather than all the models of one unit?

I would perfer just 1 unit or large model for the diarama. You are more than welcome to add more to it as long as you meet these minimal requirements. Also glad to have you aboard.

Well if I can play games on Saturdays, then sign me up. I'll play Vampires

I have added you, what is your name so I can put that down also.

There will be zero make up games. If you can't play your scheduled game within the round you won't be eligible for any of the prizes and don't forget each round is 2 weeks not 1 week and they will start on Wednesday's...or Warhammer Wednesday's. :D

FYI I copied this from the other thread.

I was hoping that a situation like that wouldn’t happen because they would have a full 2 weeks to try to find a time to play. I can be pretty flexible though and in cases where they are not able to come to a resolution I could fill in for that person and play the games. Another option is that if there are multiple matchups that round where players cannot meet to play I could flip-flop the players to a more workable opponent.

So I had this idea, which Jon Cox made better. What if for the secondary game (or perhaps for certain weeks secondary games, or whatever) we allowed team games? I personally really like them, and want excuses to set them up. I'd imagine they'd be optional, and they could pretty easily use the same scoring as a normal game.

Any thoughts?

I really like the team games idea... I think it could be a bit more hectic trying to schedule a time when four people could all play together (including coordinating a list with your teammate, etc). But I think it could definately be a lot of fun too!

I don't have a problem with you playing a team game as your bonus game of the round. You would have to set that up yourselves though because there could be a lot scheduling issues with more than 2 people trying to meet up for 1 game.

Tim, did you want us to submit lists or anything?

No, I removed the fixed list requirement so your list can change from game to game.

I do need everyone to pay prior to playing their first game though. Just give the money to the person who is working at the time and let them know that it is for the Fantasy Escalation League.

I take it that there is an envelope for this event?

Tim you should include everyones Name and Screen Name. The Screen Name is going to help us get into contact with each other.

Oh, and I'll be playing Beastmen.

Also, as it seems that Walter, being awesome as he is, has allowed me to pursue the Wood Elf army and thus I will be playing them instead. Figured a heads up was in order. Also I loved the delicious irony in the fact that prior to this Walter was declared my first round opponent. Priceless.

Tim,

Just saw the matchups - my name is Jeff. :D

Also, instead of Beastmen, I'll be playing Orcs and Goblins. Feel free to get a head start on engraving "Nazdreg Facebeater" on both trophies. :P
